On February 28, 2000 Semperit Group acquired 100% of the Polish company Stomil Belchatow S.A., which now operates under Belchatow Sp. z o.o. The additional capacities resultet in interesting synergies and new market opportunities. Sempertrans Belchatow is the biggst producer of conveyor belts in Poland. The company is specialized in the production of steel belts. Its principal customers are lignite, iron ore and other ores minerals mines.
