Squarebelt

The know-how and technical innovation of SEMPERTRANS has resulted in the development of a new handling system: the SQUAREBELT.
Combining the technical characteristics of the AUTOSTABLE belt for its construction and of the PIPE CONVEYOR for its use, the SQUAREBELT provides an optimum solution to problems of handling bulk products without pollution of the outside environment while at the same time protecting the product conveyed, and offers a unique advantage compared to a conventional pipe conveyor by preventing twisting of the belt, particularly in curved conveyors.

The materials can be conveyed on both strands of the belt.

At the loading and tipping points, the SQUARE CONVEYOR is opened and closed in the form of a standard trough to pass flat over the pulleys like a conventional conveyor belt.

ADVANTAGES OF THE SQUAREBELT

• Environmental protection: the material is totally isolated from the outside environment
• Perfect belt alignment: avoids any risk of twisting of the belt
• Vertical and horizontal curves: the use of elastic cords allows radii of curvature in vertical and horizontal planes
• Roller spacing: because of its inertia, the square cross section allows considerable spacing of the stations
